Established Apparel Manufacturer/Importer seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Production Assistant to support our production team. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations by managing data entry, cost calculations, and garment production coordination from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
• Enter patterns, trims, and material details into AIMS.
• Calculate and input manufacturing costs, including trims, labels, labor, freight, and additional expenses.
• Create cost sheets and secure necessary approvals.
• Generate cut tickets and BOMs, coordinating with production teams and contractors.
• Monitor production timelines, ensuring contractors meet deadlines.
• Identify and resolve missing items or production issues promptly.
• Process new orders and oversee daily production tasks.
• Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and contractors, responding to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in apparel production and imports.
• Proficiency in AIMS or similar production software preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
