Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot hardware and software on desktops and laptops
- Respond to IT support requests and provide timely resolutions
- Configure and troubleshoot issues related to mobile devices
- Assist in managing computer hardware inventory
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the integrity of the IT infrastructure
- Provide support for Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and other operating systems
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues including TCP/IP, LAN, etc.
- Perform routine computer management tasks
Skills
- Proficiency in IT support and troubleshooting techniques
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware components
- Familiarity with various operating systems including Windows, Mac OS, and Linux
- Understanding of IT infrastructure and network concepts
