The Strategic Partner Manager role is to identify, develop, and manage key partnerships that drive business growth and revenue. By fostering strong relationships with existing and potential partners, the role ensures alignment with company goals and market trends, enabling mutually beneficial collaborations that expand market reach and enhance the company's competitive position. 

 

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement partnership strategies that are aligned with overall company goals, client needs, and market trends
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships to unlock new customer segments and revenue opportunities
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with current partners, acting as the primary point of contact to initiate and coordinate partnership and marketing activities such as co-selling, co-marketing, and account mapping
  • Meet regularly with potential partners and consultants to understand their services and products, deliver demos, explore mutually beneficial partnerships, and foster a collaborative environment
  • Address and resolve partnership conflicts while proactively mitigating risks and providing partners with the necessary resources, training, and support
  • Organize and update partner accounts in Salesforce and other relevant documents, managing contact information, contracts, leads, revenue, and notes
  • Research and attend industry conferences, trade shows, and exhibitions to build relationships, enhance partnerships, and stay informed on industry trends in the APAC market
  • Conduct market research and develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies tailored to the region
  • Monitor industry news and competitor activities to ensure the company remains competitive, adaptive, and responsive to evolving market conditions
  • Seek out sales/referral opportunities by connecting our sales team with our partner sales teams, and driving co-selling activities 
  • Conduct market research to identify new partners and vet out the partnership opportunity
  • Facilitate regular training sessions and workshops for partners to ensure they are knowledgeable about our products and services, and can effectively promote and sell them
  • Seek out sponsorship opportunities for partners to co-fund our events, and vice-versa to grow Teamwork’s visibility in the market and help offset costs
  • Manage the partner onboarding process to ensure new partners are efficiently integrated and equipped with the necessary resources and information
  • Provide demos of our software to partners and general company presentations to prospective partners
  • Oversee various administrative tasks including managing Crossbeam administration, preparing monthly revenue share reports, and tracking monthly partner usage to ensure accurate and timely data management
  • Organize in-person meetings between partners and our sales team to help develop and strengthen the partnership and increase the odds of referrals with that partner

 

Requirements

 

Job Qualifications:

 

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field or equivalent job experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, account management, or channel sales within the technology, SaaS, or MarTech industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, developing, and managing strategic partnerships that drove business growth and revenue.

 

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of partnership dynamics and able to navigate complex partnership landscapes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of an organization.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement partnership strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for managing partner relationships and data.
  • Team player with strong collaboration skills.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding partnership and revenue targets.
  • Travel: Ability to travel domestically and internationally occasionally as needed.
