We are seeking a digital marketing coordinator/social media to highlight executives, sports employers, events, special programs, and thousands of job opportunities for brand name sports organizations and adjacent service companies across all of our social platforms, email marketing campaigns and website.  Our audience includes both job seekers and employers.
 
As Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator, following an in-depth understanding of TeamWork's brand, products, services and marketing plan, you will be responsible for planning and hands-on creating the corresponding social media and writing posts and blogs that amuse, engage, highlight and celebrate the many employers, hired candidates, event - goers, professors  and all members of our TeamWork platform.  

  • Manage and grow our social media presence and engagement on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, Medium (TeamWork blog) and other relevant social platforms. 
  • Schedule (weekly, daily, monthly), create (video and print content) and post engaging content that aligns with our brand and objectives, including written copy, images, videos, etc. This will include event recap posts and weekly Blogs. 
  • Oversee the collection of, tagging of, video and photo files, particularly from our events. Recommend good video and photos across the website. 
  • Analyze social media performance, track key metrics, and provide insights for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the entire team to produce multimedia content that resonates with our audiences.
  • Attend some events in close proximity.

  • Previous professional writing experience (print and web)
  • A keen eye for grammar, spelling, and punctuation
  • A unique voice that is clear, informative, and compelling
  • Ability to lead and contribute to marketing discussions, particularly regarding social media strategies, offering data-driven insights, and forward-thinking ideas
  • An innovative mindset when brainstorming ideas to push the brand further
  • A strong understanding of current social media and content trends, with the ability to strategically connect the brand to those trends
  • A talent for listening to and integrating diverse stories and perspectives from individuals across the sports industry, crafting compelling narratives for publications and digital content
  • Proficient video editing skills to create engaging tips, how-tos, and other videos that correlate with the brand’s message and objectives
 
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or an equivalent academic program
  • 1-2 years in sports information, media relations, or communications, which entailed a lot of writing  (Preferably sports business experience). Strong writing, communication, and relationship skills 
  • Ability to shoot, edit, create audio and video content that is creative and interactive and schedule on social media platforms and emails.   Solid graphic design skills. 
  •  Demonstrate pro-active initiative, with strong organizational and time management skills.  Knowledgeable in use and application of social media sites including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint required 
  • Experience in leading the planning of a social media schedule for a brand 
  • Experience in Adobe Premiere, inDesign, and other Adobe products as well as Canva and CapCut. 
  • Possess the highest integrity and ethical standards
  • Ability to be responsive and flexible to complete responsibilities on short notice
  • Attention to detail, deadline focused, and the ability to prioritize and execute multiple tasks
  • Exceptional writing skills, including the ability to write in a range of voices and styles for varied projects with diverse audiences
 
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Working knowledge of posting times, engagement boosters etc. on social media and similar mediums
  • Experience working in the sports and entertainment industry

This is a 40-hour a week job.
