Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Distribution-Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse and distribution operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient management of stock, order processing, and adherence to safety standards. You will also supervise a team of warehouse staff while maintaining the facility’s operational integrity, including minor building maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and space utilization.
- Ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment, stock retrieval, and inventory counts.
- Maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of the facility, adhering to all applicable safety standards.
- Train, mentor, and supervise warehouse staff while assisting with hiring and resolving conflicts.
- Perform minor maintenance tasks including carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing as needed.
- Generate and maintain reports on inventory, stock status, and key operational metrics.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and 5S activities for operational excellence.
- Collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s degree in business management or related field preferred.
- 5 years of warehouse and logistics experience with proven leadership skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Suite, and barcode technology.
- Forklift trainer certification preferred.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
