- MUST be 21 years old
- MUST have 1 year of experience working with youth in a behavioral setting i.e. camp counselor, teaching assistant.
- MUST have a valid driver's license
Job Description:
Behavioral Assistance providers address individual target behaviors. Behavioral Assistance services assist the family and youth build and practice healthy and positive coping approaches and techniques. The intervention aims to address target behaviors and enhance overall emotional and behavioral control abilities.
All behavior assistants can create their schedules according to the caregiver. This is an in-home or in-community intervention and support to assist the youth in completing their goals according to the treatment plan created by the in-home clinician or the case worker.
Interventions are designed to support the youth's ability to remain in or return to his/her present living arrangement, function within peer relationships, and maintain the least restrictive treatment setting. Youth may have co-occurring treatment needs related to intellectual, developmental, substance use, and behavioral health.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Experience in behavioral health settings
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in data collection methods
- Background in special education is a plus
Salary : $35 - $40
