What You'll Do
- Perform mechanical repairs and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment.
- Conduct detailed preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Train and mentor Preventative Maintenance Technicians as needed
- Assist in identifying parts and tools needed for repairs.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards, including HACCP, GMP, and OSHA requirements.
- Availability to work second shift.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience in a maintenance or mechanical role, preferably in food manufacturing or a similar industry.
- Proficiency reading mechanic diagrams and manuals.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
