Our client is looking for a motivated, mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician will provide support for local production assembly facilities and will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment and machines as well as helping with building fixtures.
Day Shift-Start Time, 6am
Qualifications
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining and troubleshooting equipment / machinery and tools.
- Must have own tools and rolling toolbox.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.
- Able to demonstrate skills as a well-rounded Maintenance Technician with strong mechanical aptitude.
- Must be detail oriented, a self-starter, and willing to work in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
- Able to accurately perform preventive maintenance on a daily basis with a sense of urgency.
- Must be willing to learn new maintenance procedures and techniques.
- Maintenance Technician must have good communication skills.
- Must have reliable attendance and ability to work overtime / weekends with short notice.
- Able to travel between local facilities and work effectively with minimal supervision.
