Position Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Full technical responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating large engineering assignments with overall responsibility for budget adherence, schedule adherence, quality control, and inter-discipline coordination.
- Responsible for stamping/sealing of one's drawings/documents as well as drawings/documents done as the professional in "responsible charge " as defined by the applicable statute of jurisdiction.
- May plan and develop engineering projects concerned with unique or controversial problems, offering highly specialized knowledge and skills in a particular branch of engineering.
- Maintains liaison with individuals within and outside the firm with responsibility for acting independently on technical matters pertaining to the chosen field.
- Supervision received is essentially administrative and assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
- May plan, organize, supervise, and review the work of a team of engineers and designers working on the same assigned project.
- Plays a very active part in client contact and business development activities.
- Prepares or supervises preparation of contract proposals and participates in presentations.
- Meet regularly with client to define project scope, present project progress, and assure client satisfaction.
- Accepts or rejects major items involving materials, equipment, manufacturer's quality, and field construction.
- Maintains continuing professional education as detailed in registered states' voluntary or mandatory requirements.
- Up to 25% travel required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Current Professional Engineer (PE) License and 10 years of related practical experience.
- Related build/design experience for industrial manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, or high-technology facilities.
- Proficient design experience utilizing AutoCAD and Autodesk Revit software.
