Job Description
- Monitor and assess all environmental aspects of the facility to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Assist in gathering and preparing required reports for federal and state agencies, as well as company-specific reports, and manage the maintenance of related records and files.
- Serve as a resource for addressing day-to-day environmental concerns at the site and assist in developing educational materials and training programs.
- Ensure adherence to facility environmental plans by conducting inspections and updating plans as necessary.
- Support incident investigations related to environmental concerns and prepare detailed reports for such incidents.
- Collaborate with key personnel to monitor daily environmental parameters, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Work alongside the engineering team to offer guidance on environmental considerations for facility projects.
- Coordinate with external service providers to maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
- Help develop environmental procedures and guidance documents, and review procedures from other departments to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
Job Requirements
- 1. Environmental or Engineering degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 2. Knowledge of state, local and U.S. Government regulations (OSHA, EPA, IDNR, etc.)
