Tec-Masters is seeking an International Programs Technical Support Specialist to support the Strategic Operational Rockets and Missiles (STORM) Project Office International Programs and Foreign Military Sales (FMS). This position provides essential support for the development, integration, and execution of technical efforts associated with launchers, munitions, and a range of tactical and command systems for international partners. The role requires collaboration with country representatives, OEMs, and program stakeholders to ensure successful FMS and cooperative program outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical support for FMS cases, General International Procurement Requests (GIPRs), country requests, and initial inquiries for all launchers and munitions associated with the STORM PMO.
- Review and assess documentation supporting potential FMS cases and GIPRs.
- Integration & Coordination:
- Act as the liaison between Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and country partners to determine integration and installation requirements for hardware and software.
- Provide technical guidance and support for hardware and software integration efforts.
- Subject Matter Expertise (SME):
- Support the IP Directorate’s leadership, Operations Cell Lead, and new business development for FMS and Cooperative Programs.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to IP Directorate personnel for FMS case development and Cooperative Programs coordination.
- Support technical evaluations for the Total Package Approach (TPA) for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS), Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS), and related Guided Missiles and Rockets.
- Operations Cell Lead Support:
- Provide support for daily, weekly, and monthly reports and briefings.
- Coordinate SACO and other IP Directorate communications and facilitate the preparation of memorandums, briefings, and reports.
- Conduct data research, collection, compilation, and analysis for IP-related data and documentation.
- Engineering Support:
- Provide engineering expertise for IP-related activities and initiatives.
- Draft Statements of Work (SOWs), Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), Government Work Authorizations (GWAs), and requirements planning documents.
- Conduct new case development research, assess country-specific requirements for radios, and identify hardware integration needs.
- Analyze country unit organizations and equipment to develop draft notional MLRS unit organization structures.
Experience and Skills Required:
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field OR 20 years of relevant experience.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Required Technical Background: Experience with MLRS Launchers and/or Missiles.
