We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining and be proficient in various manufacturing processes. This role involves operating manual machining equipment, fabricating parts, and ensuring high-quality production standards. The Manual Machinist will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations while adhering to safety protocols and quality control measures.
Manual Lathe Machinist - Hour 6 : 00 a.m. to 2 : 30 p.m. $20
Able to read engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables or study sample parts. Work to dimensions and tolerances provided by blueprints. Operate manual lathe machines. Able to do set ups. 3 years of experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, and grinders, to fabricate precision parts.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and tolerances.
- Utilize electrical discharge machining techniques as needed for specific projects.
- Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to develop tooling solutions for various manufacturing processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Assist in the setup and operation of plastics injection molding machines when required.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.
- Operate forklifts safely for material handling as necessary.
