Job description

Must be 21 to apply. Must be able to pass a full background check, MVR (driving record), and 5panel drug screen. Come deliver the experience of opening the door and seeing what you ordered arrive on time and in mint condition. You'll have great training, latest technology and newer equipment to get the job done safely while integrating into your local community. This is a DOT Regulated Position. Job Title : Delivery Associate

Reports To : Operations Manager

Position Summary : Drives company-provided box truck with capacity of 10,001 - 26,000lbs (non-cdl), 16-26 ft length, load and unload packages to and from specified destinations. Interacts with customers at their home and business locations. DOT Regulated position. Must carry a DOT MEC at all times. Shifts : Full-Time positions, 7 days a week operation. Monday through Sunday.

Typical shifts are from 6 : 30 am to 5 : 00 pm (8-10 hr shifts, 5 days on 2 days off - (however this may vary).

Compensation : $21.00 per hour. Benefits and PTO provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Must always represent the Company in a professional manner.

Drives truck from station to designated customer locations.

Uses hand held device for routing information, customer delivery information, to communicate with home office / dispatch, to track time.

Loads and unloads packages into / out of truck, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Must be able to move boxes up to 300 lbs.(with a helper) , with or without reasonable accommodation.

Inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water.

Maintains contact with supervisor to receive delivery instructions if unclear or if problems arise.

Maintains logs according to state and federal regulations.

Secures packages to ensure no damage is caused to customer shipments.

Follows all safety rules and company policies and procedures.

Must be a minimum of 21 year of age.

Required Skills and Experience :

Customer Service - is professional at all times with anyone at the customer location.

Driving and Delivery Experience - previous driving and delivery experience.

Technology Oriented - must be comfortable using mobile technology in an efficient and accurate way.

Safety and Security - adheres to all safety and security procedures. Determines appropriate action beyond guidelines as required. Uses vehicle and all provided work materials, appropriately.

Attendance / Punctuality and Timeliness - Is consistently at work at required shift and is on time or early. Completes work in a timely manner and within the standards outlined by the company.

Dependability- follows instructions, responds to management direction. Takes responsibility for own actions. Keeps commitments. Completes tasks on time or notifies supervisor in advance, if a commitment is at risk.

Minimum 1 year experience with driving box trucks from 16-26 ft.

Education Requirements :

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Supervises :

Limited supervisory role.

Required Licenses :

Valid State Driver's License is Required.

Work Authorization Requirements :

United States Work Authorization is Required.

Must consent to a drug screening (DOT Regulated position) and 7 yr background check
