Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Dynatrace environment, ensuring continuous monitoring of applications, infrastructure, and cloud services.
- Set up and configure Dynatrace agents on servers, VMs, and containers.
- Create and manage dashboards, alerts, and custom metrics to monitor system performance, availability, and user experience.
- Troubleshoot performance issues, analyze root causes, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to design and implement monitoring strategies.
- Ensure the health and reliability of the monitoring solution through proactive checks, updates, and optimizations.
- Maintain and update integration between Dynatrace and other monitoring, CI/CD, and alerting systems.
- Prepare reports on system health, availability, and performance for stakeholders.
- Assist with troubleshooting application and infrastructure issues related to monitoring and performance metrics.
- Train and mentor internal teams on using Dynatrace effectively and interpret the data for performance optimization.
- Collaborate on system upgrades, enhancements, and integration of new technologies into the monitoring platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in managing and configuring Dynatrace environments.
- Strong knowledge of application performance monitoring (APM) and infrastructure monitoring tools.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.
- Understanding of network protocols, database systems, and server infrastructure.
- Experience in integrating Dynatrace with other tools like ServiceNow, Splunk, Jira, etc.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills:
- Dynatrace certifications (Dynatrace Associate, Professional, etc.).
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Knowledge of ITIL and experience with incident, change, and problem management.
