What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Infrastructure Technician position at TECEZE?
At TECEZE, we are seeking a highly skilled IT Infrastructure Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and processing tickets related to server maintenance.
As an IT Infrastructure Technician, you will collect necessary parts and proceed to the designated rack location listed in the ticket. You will then un-cable the network switch, remove it from the rack, and open it for further inspection.
Your tasks will include locating and replacing SSDs and DIMMs, processing logical transactions in the ticket, and closing the switch. Additionally, you will re-rack the switch, re-cable it, and notify the chat team to begin provisioning.
This is a repeat process until all tickets are completed each day. You will also be required to visit the ERAD location to logically process SSDs and return defective DIMMs to the designated shelf for further processing.
