Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer with CCNA and CCNP certifications to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. This role requires expertise in routing, switching, firewall management, and network optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Design & Implementation: Configure, deploy, and maintain LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Diagnose and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
- Security & Compliance: Implement network security measures, monitor vulnerabilities, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Performance Optimization: Analyze network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for improved efficiency.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain network diagrams, configurations, and incident logs for reference and auditing.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support business operations and projects.
- Upgrades & Maintenance: Perform network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates to keep systems up to date.
Required Qualifications:
- Certifications: CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional)
- Experience: 10 years of experience in network engineering or IT infrastructure roles.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, EIGRP)
- Expertise in switching technologies (VLANs, STP, EtherChannel)
- Experience with firewall configurations (Cisco ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Understanding of network security principles (IDS/IPS, VPN, NAC)
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus
Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and ability to work independently or in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with SD-WAN and wireless networking.
- Knowledge of VoIP, QoS, and network automation tools.
- Familiarity with ITIL practices and network monitoring tools (SolarWinds, Wireshark, etc.).
Work Environment:
- Hybrid/Onsite (as per company policy)
- May require occasional travel for on-site network support.
- Rotational on-call support as needed.
