The Commercial Plumber is responsible for providing customer service in the field by driving to and from customer sites to install, service and repair fittings, fixtures of heating, water and drainage systems according to the specifications and plumbing codes. Communication to the customer regarding the service is essential.
Responsibilities :
- Respond to customer service requests (service calls)
unclog and service trains
repair sink fixturesrecirculating pumps, water heaters and other plumbing related issuesProvide excellent customer serviceDiagnose and repair commercial plumbing equipmentInspect the equipment and their related components to ensure safe operationRuns service calls independentlyAbility to climb ladders, work from heights and crawl in tight quarters.Able to perform on call duty rotationWork with Dispatcher to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated with customerCompletes service tickets according to proceduresMaintaining current vehicle inventory, cleanliness and maintenanceAble to assist in training other technicians in your tradeSets a positive example for less experience or new technicians by being a Company advocateFollows all company policies and procedures.Understands and always demonstrates proper safety proceduresDrive company vehicle safely and courteously at all timesPerforming manual tasks such as : bending, reaching, standing, lifting / carrying up to 50 lbs., or maneuvering heavier items with additional manpower or appropriate devicesOperate basic hand and power toolsQualifications :
Valid state driver's license and clean driving record3 - 5 years of similar job experienceCustomer service oriented and strong customer service skillsAbility to work with or without supervision and in a team environmentGood computer skillsAccurately and promptly completes required paperworkOwn industry's standard hand toolsBenefits Include :
