What are the responsibilities and job description for the Work Control Planner position at Tech Army, LLC?
Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in a non-technical discipline and at least 4-5 years of practical experience in work control, materials management, E&I / mechanical maintenance, or related areas. Associate's degree in a technical or mechanical area and at least 8 years of practical experience would be considered equivalent. High school diploma and at least 10-12 years of practical experience would also be considered equivalent.
Top Skills & Years of Experience:
- The ability to understand and interpret various electrical and mechanical documents, blueprints, drawings, and schematics is required.
- Ability to utilize and manipulate a computerized work management system in maintaining and tracking work planning activities is required.
- A working knowledge of DOE, Federal and state regulations as well as existing engineering and quality assurance standards and procedures is required.
- Requires a comprehensive understanding of site work control procedures and work practices, radiological control, quality assurance, configuration management, material control and procedures for
both maintenance and operations related areas.
- Requires a thorough understanding from a conceptual level of various processes, systems, and equipment.
- Understanding of work hazards, safety practices, operating configuration and lockout point identification.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with PeopleSoft and CLIENT PO and requisition process.
-Possession of an active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two (2) years is preferred.
-Previous SRS or DOE facility experience is preferred.
