Position: Business Analyst
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Pay: $65/hr on C2C
- Education:
- Bachelor of Science/Arts degree.
- Experience:
- 7 years in:
- Gathering and documenting business/technical requirements (Oracle & SQL).
- Producing technical documentation (requirements, specifications, traceability matrices, etc.).
- Writing meeting notes, analyses, and training materials.
- Testing applications, reports, large datasets, or dashboards.
- Facilitating business and technical analysis meetings.
- 2 years in:
- Developing web applications.
- 1 year working with:
- Team Foundation Server (TFS) and Visual Studio .NET.
- Other Experience:
- Collaborating on large-scale implementation projects.
- Working with software/hardware vendors.
- Governance, Project Management, or Portfolio Management.
- State government experience (preferably education/early learning programs).
- Program environments with interrelated projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in:
- Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Preferred Experience:
- Working in state government (education/early learning focus).
Key Deliverables/Tasks:
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams.
- Coordinate and facilitate communication with stakeholders and technical staff.
- Documentation & Analysis:
- Produce accurate, complete system and user documentation.
- Identify commonalities in business models and assess new legal/regulatory requirements.
- Project Meetings:
- Attend and actively participate in meetings with stakeholders.
- Serve as a key contact for project communication.
- Project Support:
- Ensure the application meets scope requirements and project guidelines.
- Collaborate with project managers and leadership to develop solutions.
- Develop contingency plans and identify obstacles to project success.
- Technical Tasks:
- Participate in software/hardware-related testing and implementation.
- Support governance and project management requirements.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Participate in conference calls with state and federal stakeholders.
- Assist in program-level decision-making for interrelated projects.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $71,283.00 - $77,760.00 per year
