Technical Training Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of our employees in various technical areas. This role requires a strong background in IT and customer service, as well as the ability to analyze complex systems and convey information effectively. The Technical Trainer will play a crucial role in ensuring that our staff is equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to excel in their roles.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs tailored to the needs of employees in technical areas.
• Conduct engaging training sessions using various instructional techniques, including hands-on demonstrations and interactive workshops.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback, making adjustments as necessary to improve learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content is accurate, relevant, and up-to-date with industry standards.
• Provide ongoing support and resources for employees post-training to reinforce learning and encourage continuous improvement.
• Utilize software tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Excel, and various operating systems to create training materials and documentation.
• Analyze training needs by assessing employee performance and identifying skill gaps within the organization.

Experience

• Proven experience in a technical training role or similar position is preferred.
• Strong understanding of IT concepts, including familiarity with programming languages such as Java and cloud services like AWS.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in using computer systems for training delivery and documentation purposes.
• Experience with instructional design methodologies is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
