Automation Test Lead, Selenium

Role: Automation Test Lead
Location:  New York, NY (Hybrid: 3 days onsite)
Role Type: Contract to hire
Duration: 18 Months

What You’ll Do:

Leadership & Management:

• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and career growth.
• Coordinate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the QA team.
• Works closely with other leaders within and outside the Value Stream - Product managers, Product Owners, Tech Leads, delivery, and Integration leads to achieve desired results.

Test Strategy & Planning:

• Ensure. high-quality software delivery by planning, implementing, and automating all levels of testing, working in collaboration with C4Es and developers to achieve wholistic test suite leveraging enterprise tools.
• Define quality standards and metrics for products, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
• Identify, track, and resolve quality issues throughout the development lifecycle.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Must be local and should have at least 14 years of experience in testing. 
• QA testing Lead with strong SQL, Linux & scripting experience
• Strong Selenium experience. 
• Understands Data is able to interface with all stakeholders
• Great communication skills

Education:
Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Computer Science/IT or similar.

Huge Plus:
Past experience with Banking/Finance/Insurance sector is a huge plus but not mandatory.

Salary : $60 - $70
