Position Summary :
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets to ensure smooth and efficient operations. This role requires adherence to safety standards and company policies while providing technical support to improve system performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair plant equipment and support systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery such as conveyors, mixers, slicers, packaging machines, and other equipment.
- Read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints, electrical schematics, and ladder logic.
- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and motor control systems.
- Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment failures.
- Fabricate and weld metal components when required.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track and document maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, including lock-out tag-out (LOTO), Arc-Flash, and confined space entry protocols.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Work in a team-oriented environment with minimal supervision.
