Job description

Weoffer advancement opportunities and steady work. This facilityoperates five days a week with the potential for overtime andproduces Taco Shells and Tortillas.

Thisposition works either 6 : 00am 6 : 00pm or 6 : 00pm 6 : 00am on a rotatingschedule.

• This position isresponsible for operating and maintaining the refrigeration systemswhile maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tysonspolicies and procedures.
• This position isresponsible for providing mechanical support to thefacility.
• This support includes but is notlimited to mechanical troubleshooting (including electrical)mechanical repairs modification of equipment preventive maintenanceand installation of equipment in the area of the ammoniarefrigeration system and HVAC.
• This positionperforms repairs on various equipment within the facility bothproduction and nonproductionrelated.
• Refrigeration mechanics troubleshoot and repair equipmentbreakdowns complete assigned work orders and document them in theSAP maintenance system.

PHYSICALREQUIREMENTS : The successful candidate(s) must be willing and ableto perform the physical requirements of the job with or without areasonable accommodation.

• While performing the duties of this job the Team Memberis frequently required to lift and move up to 75 pounds (withassistance) climb tall ladders bend and crouch and perform taskswhile working from elevated platforms.
• Whileperforming the duties of this job the Team Member is regularlyexposed to wet and humid conditions and extreme cold / hotconditions.

The noise level in the work environment typicallyrequires hearing protection.

Requirements :

• Minimum 1 year refrigeration maintenance work experienceor gradual of an industrial refrigeration training program. Can bea combination of employers.
• Be able to belockout / tag out certified confined space certified fall protectioncertified and forklift certified.
• Must be partof the HAZMAT team and be able to pass the Respirator Level 4physical annually.
• Must be able to completeLevel 1 Operator training.
• Must complete themaintenance training program to L4 within the designated timeframe.
• Must be able to get a boilerlicense.
• Process Safety Management (PSM)experience is a plus.

Candidates who have previously worked for Tysonwill have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and arelimited to 3 times of employment.
