Location : Remote Richmond, VA

Remote / Local Java Developer (12 ) with Oracle, SQL, PL / SQL, APEX, GITHUB, CI / CD, data auditing experience

Skills :

Professional experience working with java based web based applications using Oracle as the backend is required. Required 7 Years

Working with Oracle 11g / 12c / 18c Database or higher, SQL, PL / SQL programming. Required 7 Years

Strong designing, development, and troubleshooting skills required. Required 7 Years

Experience and knowledge of scheduling, data exchange interfaces, data analysis, relational data model and design required. Required 7 Years

Working experience with data security, data auditing and report generation required Required 5 Years

Knowledge of object-oriented design concepts, vulnerability scanning, XML, HTML, UNIX scripting, web scripting tools, APEX, GITHUB and CI / CD. Desired 3 Years

Description :

Develop and incorporate business processes to enhance the current applications using Oracle based technologies. Write and modify PL / SQL programs based on the requirements to extract data, integration, schedule jobs, application enhancements.

Production support with specific emphasis on the development of changes related to data bound queries, sql tuning, pl / sql enhancements to get improved performance. Develop data interfaces, data transfer, relational diagrams, scheduling and application code management. Collaborate development activities with other team members. Create technical specifications and other documents as required.

• Design, develop and write pl / sql code and enhance application code, tune sql code to get better performance. Developing relational data models and designs
• Identify issues with the application data, analyze and apply and provide emergency release and production support. Review application server issues and provide resolution.
• Write data exchange interfaces, job scheduling
• Update quality center defects / enhancements including test steps; code changes to build the knowledge base.
• Collaborate development and integration activities with other team members. Work with business groups, internal-external teams to understand requirements to write efficient system programs.
• Provide support for production applications.
• Good oral and written communication skills are required.
• Applicants must have strong multitasking capabilities and the ability to work on multiple projects / issues simultaneously in an aggressive environment including off hours support.
• Applicants must have the ability to assess the impact of software upgrades and other environmental changes.
• Knowledge in software package installation, change management, and testing is preferable.
• Candidates should be able to translate functional requirements, build relational models and transfer relational models into technical design and application code.
• Knowledge of the scripting language is highly desirable.
• Candidate should be an excellent team player and independently able to research and provide resolution for any production support.
