Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Fire Alarm Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in installing, maintaining, and repairing fire alarm systems. As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of fire alarm systems in commercial, residential, and industrial settings. You will work closely with clients to provide exceptional service while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation & Maintenance: Install, inspect, and maintain fire alarm systems including detectors, control panels, and notification devices.
- Repairs & Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair faulty systems and components to ensure the system is functioning correctly.
- System Testing: Conduct regular system tests to ensure compliance with local fire codes and regulations.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all installations and repairs meet local, state, and national fire safety codes and regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide high-quality customer service by addressing client inquiries, offering technical support, and ensuring satisfaction.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate service records, including work orders, system configurations, and service history.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, electrical contractors, and other team members to ensure timely completion of jobs.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of [X] years of experience as a fire alarm technician or in a related field.
- Certification: NICET Fire Alarm Level I, II, or higher (or the ability to obtain within [X] months).
