POSITION OVERVIEW
Schedules activities of system designer / engineers and CAD operators in assigned region and assists in establishing priorities with department backlog. Ensures that the technical design and support of the company's communication systems effectively meet the needs of the customer and the enterprise.
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the engineering department. In accordance with applicable Company policies / procedures and Federal / State laws, may perform the following supervisory responsibilities : Interviewing, hiring, orienting and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
