MongoDB DBA
- Experience in MongoDB Installation, configuration and administration for very large and complex databases in various MongoDB versions 3.4, 4.0, 4.4 and 6.0 .
- Experience in designing MongoDB multi-sharded cluster and monitoring with Ops Manager.
- Hands on experience on Create, Read, Update and Delete (CRUD) Operation.
- Creating replica set (Arbiter, Priority, Hidden, Delayed nodes) & sharded clusters in MongoDB.
- Proficient in upgrading various versions of Mongo database on different platforms.
- Experience in managing multi - node MongoDB clusters.
- Created aggregation queries for reporting and analysis.
- Creation of Indexes (Single-Field, Compound, Unique, Multi-key index, Text & Hashed Sharding indexes).
- Data Backup and recovery using Mongo dump, restore & Mongo export, import.
- Refresh MongoDB data from staging to production and vice versa.
- MQL Query tuning and optimization with appropriate index creation for effective processing.
- Responsible for administration, maintenance, Performance analysis, and Capacity planning
- Ensure the continuous availability of our mission critical MongoDB clusters using replication across data centers.
- Performance tuning and indexing strategies using mongo utilities like Mongostat and Mongotop.
The pay range for this role is $100,000 - $120,000 per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
