Service Technician / Electrical Technician

Position: Service Technician

Contract: 6 - Month contract (possible temp to hire after 6 months)

Location: Erie PA

Responsibilities and Duties:

· Repair, service, trouble shoot PSB processing equipment out in the field

· Man, the service desk as a back up to the Service Manager

· Manage the dispatch process of service requests when the Service Manager is not available

· Understanding of PSB

· Interface with appropriate technical personnel for customer problems that cannot be resolved effectively

· Provide accurate reports and metrics to company management on the status and budget of on‐going projects and agreements

· Assist the service desk team in design and development tasks when the Service Manger is not available

· Design and maintain process documentation for the service calls

· Utilize the remote monitoring and management system to ensure consistency and accurate reporting of customer devices, and problem solving

· Must conform to Handbook rules

· Perform other duties required by top management

Qualifications:

· General knowledge of PSB processing equipment

· General knowledge of hand tools and electronic monitoring equipment to repair PSB processing

equipment

· Skilled in communication with customers, both internal and external

· Knowledge of Microsoft applications

· Able to follow directions

· Able to work with minimal oversight

· Ability to travel out of town overnight

· Physical dexterity to work at customer site locations

· Physically able to lift (60) lbs.

· Demonstrate the ability to interface with both non-technical and technical personnel

· Reports all discrepancies to top management immediately

· Demonstrating work behaviors consistent with the company values and work within prescribed boundaries, including company policies, standards, procedures and any other requirements

· Able to compile correct paper work necessary for accounting functions

· High School Diploma or equivalent. Two years of experience in industry required

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
