Job Summary:

We are looking for CNC Machinist Lathe Operators and Machinists to be responsible for operating and monitoring CNC lathe machines and performing turning, boring and threading functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Familiar with general lathe machine operation and mechanical skills

· Familiar with checking, setting up programs and measuring tool offsets

· Knowledge of verifying dimensions using gauges, micrometers, calipers, and various measuring devices

· Familiar with working on lathes such as Mazak and Fanuc Controlled Turning Centers

· Responsible for reporting malfunctions, replacing worn tools, and cleaning debris from machine

· Familiar with operating lifting devices for movement of materials and other equipment as needed

· Maintain cleanliness of work area

Requirements:

· Position requires the applicant be a US Person or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder)

· Ability to read and understand drawings

· Ability to operate measuring instruments and operate Mazak or FANUC controls

· Comfort with working with close tolerances

· At least 1 year of experience as a machine operator is preferred

· Knowledge of GD&T preferred

· Ability to follow instructions and drawings with minimal supervision

· Ability to follow proper safety protocols

· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $40.00 per hour
