Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cable Technician to join our team in Trenton, NJ. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing cable systems. You will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive reliable and high-quality services.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair cable systems, including internet, television, and phone services.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with cable systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to cable networks.
- Conduct site surveys to determine the best installation methods and ensure optimal signal strength.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Cable Technician or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of cable installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
