Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Cable Technician to join our team in the Tri-state area. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing cable systems. You will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive reliable and high-quality services.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair cable systems, including internet, television, and phone services.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with cable systems.
- Perform routine maintenance and upgrades to cable networks.
- Conduct site surveys to determine the best installation methods and ensure optimal signal strength.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and materials used.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Cable Technician or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of cable installation, maintenance, and repair techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
