Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine care needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including injections and catheterization.
- Perform specimen collection and processing for laboratory testing.
- Manage cases effectively by coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and treatment options.
- Utilize electronic health record systems such as Epic for documentation and patient tracking.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and best practices in patient care.
- Participate in continuous education and training to enhance clinical skills, including DME (Durable Medical Equipment) management and esthetic laser treatment.
Experience
- Previous experience in acute care settings is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to perform infant care competently.
- Familiarity with case management processes is advantageous.
- Experience with specimen collection processing is desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
