Job Summary
The X-ray Technician will be responsible for operating X-ray equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures on patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Duties
- Perform X-ray imaging procedures as requested by healthcare providers
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess imaging results
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during imaging processes
Requirements
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques including X-ray and CT scans
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation
- Experience working in urgent care or trauma centers preferred
- General Certifications(BLS/BCLS)
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Pay: $55.00 - $58.00 per hour
