Surgical Technologist

Job Title: CVOR Surgical Technologist (Open Heart)

Location: Zanesville, OH 43701

Shift Timings: Day shift (6a - 2:30p)

Duration: 04 Months (Possibility of extension)

Responsibilities:

• Candidate must possess a minimum of current or very recent 2 years of Open-Heart experience. Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
• BLS required. CST preferred but not required.
• Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required.
• The Surg Tech will be required to float/assist in General Surgery when CVOR volumes are low.
• The Surg Tech will work 40 hours/week, working either four (4) 10-hr days or five (5) 8-hour shifts (6a - 2:30p) per the traveler's preference.
• Surg Tech will take at least 2-3 days of call per week (dependent on staffing levels at the time).
• The weekend call starts at the time your shift ends on Friday and runs through Monday morning until 7a.
• There could be a possible holiday call rotation depending on how the holidays fall during the assignment.
