Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support the implementation of a Partnership Accounting System within our organization. This role requires a blend of business and technical expertise to analyze requirements, design solutions, and ensure seamless integration of the accounting system. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial systems, partnership accounting, and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including finance, accounting, IT, and external vendors, to gather and document business and technical requirements.
• Analyze existing accounting processes and workflows to define system requirements and process improvements.
• Work closely with software vendors and internal development teams to design and implement system configurations, integrations, and customizations.
• Define and document functional specifications, data models, and system workflows.
• Support data migration activities, including mapping, validation, and reconciliation between legacy and new systems.
• Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and coordinate resolution of defects with IT and vendor teams.
• Develop and deliver user training materials and assist in change management efforts.
• Monitor and track project milestones, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for partnership accounting and ensure compliance with regulatory and reporting requirements.
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting to ensure system stability and optimization.

Required Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience: 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in financial services or investment management.
• Strong knowledge of partnership accounting principles, financial reporting, and fund structures.
• Experience with partnership accounting systems (e.g., Investran, eFront, VPM, or similar).
• Understanding of SQL, data modeling, and system integrations (APIs, ETL tools, etc.) is a plus.
• Proficiency in business process analysis, documentation, and project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
