Travel Cable Technician – Tennessee (Housing Provided, 1099 Position)

We are looking for experienced 1099 Travel Cable Technicians to work in Tennessee for up to 6 months. This position is ideal for independent contractors who are fully trained and ready to start immediately.

Coverage Areas:

• Savannah, TN
• Cookeville, TN
• Columbia, TN
• Local technicians may also apply

Position Details:

• 1099 Independent Contractor Role
• Piece Rate Pay – Compensation is based on completed jobs.
• Housing Provided – Lodging is covered for the duration of the travel assignment.
• First Pay is 3 Weeks Out, Then Paid Weekly Every Friday.
• Once the travel assignment ends, techs may continue working in any of our covered areas.

Requirements:

• Must be fully trained and ready to start immediately (No training provided).
• Experience with coax and fiber installations is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving history.
• Must have own truck or van (vehicle not provided).
• Must have all required tools, including a meter and ladders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work at heights, lift 70 lbs, and work in various weather conditions.
• Compliance with OSHA safety standards.
• Must pass a background check.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair cable systems for television and internet services.
• Perform troubleshooting and resolve network communication issues.
• Conduct inspections to ensure proper system functionality.
• Provide high-quality service while maintaining professionalism in customer interactions.

Work Location: On-site in Tennessee, with housing included.
