Job Title : Administrative Assistant / Lab Technician
Location : Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Duration : 06 to 18 Months Contract (Possible Extension)
Job Requirement :
- Candidate need to work on-site during business hours 9 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday.
- Occasionally you may need to work earlier or later hours.
- candidate receives the necessary training they will be expected to perform tasks.
- Follow all laboratory safety guidelines including proper handling and disposal of chemicals wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and keeping the workspace clean and organized.
- Responsible for the daily receipt inspection and logging of all incoming samples.
- Organize samples according to type client and project requirements.
- Accurately enter sample information into a LIMS system.
- Sample Handling & Preparation
- Prepare and process samples according to established protocols.
- Assist with reference sample extraction for sensory evaluations.
- Ensure proper sample disposal and adherence to hazardous waste disposal guidelines.
- Load and unload laboratory glassware and equipment.
- Ensure thorough cleaning and drying of all laboratory ware.
- Systematically arrange and store equipment in designated locations.
- Perform routine calibrations of designated laboratory equipment.
- Monitor and restock laboratory supplies as needed.
- Maintain and manage calibration records and Certificates of Analysis.
- Contribute to fostering collaboration support the team and adopt a growth mindset to help achieve shared business
- Basic laboratory techniques and procedures
- Basic understanding of laboratory safety practices.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
