Document Control Specialist I
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Specialist I to support our team in Ludington, MI.
This role is responsible for managing construction-related documents throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and manage construction-related documents, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and accessibility.
- Collaborate with project teams to facilitate document control for new builds and equipment modifications.
- Receive, process, and archive engineering documents from external firms, ensuring proper system entry and review.
- Organize and manage engineering drawings, ensuring integration into the Engineering Record Center and providing hard copies as needed.
- Support internal drafting efforts while adhering to company CAD standards.
Requirements:
- Experience in construction document control and familiarity with document management systems such as ProjectWise or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of document control procedures, compliance standards, and best practices.
- Ability to efficiently handle and manage engineering and construction-related documentation.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
This position plays a critical role in supporting renewable energy projects and conventional energy operations. The specialist will work closely with project teams within CMS Energy Engineering to ensure seamless document control processes.
