Associate EPC Project Manager
Duration : Contract through 02 / 02 / 2026, with a strong possibility of extension
Location : Hybrid, with 3 days / week in office (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday), preferably at Parnall in Jackson, MI, but will consider other office locations across Michigan. Travel to job sites will be required.
Job Summary :
The Associate EPC Project Manager is responsible for managing smaller projects and assisting with lower-complexity projects to ensure timely and on-budget completion. This role involves planning, implementing, controlling quality, providing status updates, and successfully closing assigned project and program tasks.
Key Responsibilities :
Essential Duties :
- Support the planning and execution of the Project Lifecycle Process (PLP), including preparation of plans, schedule planning, and other project management deliverables, ensuring adherence to scope, cost, schedule, and quality objectives.
- Assist with financial forecasting and continuously reconcile project expenditures and resource allocations.
- Support the development and management of project execution plans and metric tracking for assigned projects.
- Assist with developing detailed project schedules in collaboration with the Project Scheduling group, integrating schedule concepts, constraints, risks, and mitigation strategies, while maintaining accurate schedule tracking and communication with the project team.
- Effectively communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders and third-party agencies.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and constraints, and propose contingency plans and mitigation strategies.
- Recommend new processes, techniques, and standards to drive performance improvement and solve existing project challenges.
- Provide assistance with Substation Program Management, including data gathering, data management, facilitating stakeholder meetings, and generating reports as required.
