Job Title: Inventory Auditor
Location: Melrose Wakefield Hospital, Melrose, MA
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Onsite, 5 days per week)
Duration: 4-6 months (Temporary role, covering for FMLA leave)
Position Overview
The Inventory Auditor is a vital role within the hospital's supply chain and logistics operations, ensuring efficient material procurement, inventory control, and distribution to meet patient care needs. Working under supervision, this role contributes to timely and accurate supply replenishment, which supports the hospital’s ability to provide a seamless patient experience.
Key ResponsibilitiesVisit hospital floors daily to scan barcodes and restock supplies.
Perform supply chain and logistics functions, including material procurement and inventory control.
Ensure accurate and timely ordering, replenishment, and delivery of supplies.
Check in and verify items upon delivery.
Maintain punctuality and reliability to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.
Note: This role does not involve operating heavy equipment such as forklifts.
Required Skills and QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Background in shipping/receiving (e.g., FedEx, UPS) preferred.
Entry-level candidates are welcome; training will be provided.
