Position : “Senior Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Database Administrator”
Location : Downey, CA 90242 (Hybrid)
Duration : 12 Month Contract With High Possibility of Extension
Description :
- The Senior Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Database Administrator will possess knowledge and experience in analysis and development of conceptual and detail designs for DB systems in OCI.
- Possess effective communication skills to collaborate with customer departments across LA County and project stakeholders.
- Ability to develop detailed project documents with project requirements and timelines.
- Ability to develop detailed technical documentation to build, support, maintain, and troubleshoot Oracle DB systems in OCI. Skilled in Oracle DB performance tuning in OCI.
- Skilled in developing automation scripts for routine DB maintenance jobs using tools such as Unix Shell scripting, Ansible, and Jenkins.
- Capable in effectively providing knowledge transfer to DB support staff on processes and procedures developed.
Skills :
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related or Engineering field.
Any Oracle database certifications, any Oracle Cloud Infrastructure certifications, any other public Cloud certifications.
Note :
A Hybrid telework option will be considered.
Candidate should be able to work onsite up to three days per month, as the need of the service requires.
Candidate will need to provide their own computing device (desktop / laptop with video capability) to securely connect to the county network.
