Job Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and creative Instructional Design Specialist with 1-2 years of experience to design and develop dynamic learning experiences. This position will primarily be remote; however, candidates must be based in Michigan to attend in-person meetings, "go-and-see" visits, and video shoots, as required.
Role Responsibilities :
The Instructional Design Specialist will be responsible for creating engaging and effective learning materials in various formats, including video, interactive eLearning modules, large-scale training programs, and blended instructor-led presentations. Key responsibilities include :
- Defining clear learning objectives, restructuring content, and designing engaging activities to support both face-to-face and online learning environments.
- Collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) from various business units to ensure that all content aligns with industry best practices, while adhering to regulatory and legal requirements.
- Designing and developing multimedia-rich training solutions with a focus on maximizing learner engagement and retention.
- Creating storyboards, planning production schedules, coordinating activities, conducting research, and maintaining overall production timelines.
- Producing high-quality video content for training purposes, with proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
