Job Description
Department: Project Management Office (PMO)
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our dynamic PMO team. This role involves designing, developing, deploying BI solutions and maintaining a wide variety of Power BI reports to support our agile practice and financial reporting needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management or project controls, with a keen understanding of financial data and contracts. This position is hybrid, with an expectation to be on-site on Tuesdays.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to support agile practices and financial reporting.
Collaborate with project analysts, managers, delivery managers, and financial analysts to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights.
Integrate data from various sources including JIRA, Cognos, and Microsoft Project Web Access (PWA).
Conduct analysis of story points and product backlogs to provide comprehensive agile reports.
Work closely with leadership to identify and address ongoing reporting needs.
Provide support and training to team members on Power BI and reporting best practices.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role.
Strong knowledge of Power BI, JIRA, Cognos, and Microsoft Project Web Access (PWA).
Financial background with an understanding of contracts and renewals is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment with occasional on-site requirements.
