About the Assembly/Test Technician:
At this time, we are looking to fill our Assembly/TestTechnician role who will be specializing in the assembly and testing of high tech capital equipment for ultrasonic welding. This will be a diverse role that requires the proper use of machine shop equipment, hand tools and test instruments. Applicants must be capable of interpreting mechanical/electrical drawings, wiring electrical panels, assembling and troubleshooting precision mechanisms and electronic circuits.
Position Requirements:
- Have experience assembling electrical panels and precision electromechanical systems
- Have experience in troubleshooting and providing technical information to customers
- Knowledge of machine shop equipment and processes used in a manufacturing environment
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to read and understand CAD drawings
- Ability to prioritize, organize and complete tasks independently
- Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with staff
- High degree of personal initiative
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Resourceful, accurate and highly organized with an attention to detail
- Ability to manage, prioritize and balance multiple tasks
- Must be flexible, able to adjust schedule and pitch-in as needed
- Responsible for maintaining and ordering shop supplies and tools
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Must have 4 years working in manufacturing environment
· 2 year Associate degree in technical field or engineering technician backgound preferred
