About the Role:
We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual to join our IT team in a support and logistics role. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys staying busy, keeping things organized, and playing a vital role in the day-to-day operations of a managed IT service provider.
You’ll support our helpdesk team by handling intake, basic support tasks, and inventory organization, while also being the first point of contact for answering phones and creating tickets. This role is essential in helping our technicians stay focused on higher-level work and ensuring our client environments are well-maintained and up to date.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Answering incoming calls and creating service tickets in our system.
- Handling basic support issues (password resets, locked accounts, etc.).
- Processing incoming and outgoing client hardware (laptops, PCs, firewalls, etc.).
- Logging serial numbers, labeling devices, and preparing machines for deployment.
- Keeping client hardware inventory organized and clearly labeled.
- Clearing and organizing our intake room and hardware storage area.
- Assisting with hardware retirement processes (wiping, labeling, storing).
- Updating and maintaining client information in our system (ConnectWise), including users, computers, locations, warranty dates, and device expiration timelines.
- Helping review and maintain user accounts and groups in Active Directory.
- Assisting in tracking and processing software and licensing renewals.
- Supporting technicians with helpdesk overflow or administrative tasks.
- Submitting a weekly written summary of tasks completed and key updates from your work area.

- Basic understanding of computers, Windows, and office equipment.
- Comfortable moving and organizing hardware and keeping spaces clean.
- A self-starter who takes initiative and follows through.
- Experience with ticketing systems is a plus but not required.
- Entry-level IT coursework or certifications (e.g., CompTIA A ) is a bonus.
Additional Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology or a related field is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic understanding of Windows-based computers and common IT equipment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable answering phones and creating service tickets
- Able to follow written procedures and checklists accurately
- Willingness to handle repetitive tasks such as labeling, logging, and data entry
- Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed

Position Details:
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with a 120-day evaluation period. At the end of the evaluation period, candidates who demonstrate the right fit, work ethic, and attitude may be offered a full-time position with benefits and long-term growth opportunities.
Job Type: Temp-to-hire
Pay: $15.50 - $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
