This is a 12 month contract opportunity based in Atlanta, GA (Hybrid). We are seeking an experienced and proactive Scrum Master who is hands-on in managing projects while driving Agile transformation across the business unit. As an Agile Champion, you will work closely with teams, stakeholders, and leadership to foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and Agile adoption.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe, or equivalent Agile certification is required.
5 years of experience as a Scrum Master with proven experience driving Agile adoption at scale.
Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and best practices.
Preferred Skills :
Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Familiarity with metrics-driven reporting (velocity, burndown charts, cycle time).
Knowledge of DevOps practices and how they align with Agile methodologies.
Experience leading Agile transformations or scaling Agile in large organizations.
Responsibilities :
Scrum Master Responsibilities :
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives) for multiple teams.
Ensure teams adhere to Agile principles and practices, identifying and resolving impediments effectively.
Collaborate with Product Owners to manage backlogs, prioritize work, and refine user stories.
Track and report on sprint progress, metrics, and team performance to stakeholders.
Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and implementing actionable strategies.
Agile Champion Responsibilities :
Act as a change agent, promoting Agile values and principles across the business unit.
Conduct workshops, training sessions, and coaching to build Agile capabilities within teams and leadership.
Advocate for the adoption of Agile tools and processes to enhance team efficiency and transparency.
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to align business objectives with Agile frameworks.
Develop and execute an Agile transformation roadmap tailored to the business unit's needs.
