Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Analysis & Development:
- Participate in the analysis, design, and development of technical specifications, programming, and testing of DevOps components.
- Engage in design and scripting reviews to ensure compliance with enterprise programming standards and guidelines. Assist in creating or updating enterprise standards when necessary.
- Issue Resolution & Scalability:
- Support team members in resolving issues related to scalability metrics, integration challenges, and critical production problems as required.
- Adhere to technology best practices and escalate issues when appropriate, following guidance from Senior Engineers, Lead DevOps Engineers, and the Architectural team.
- Infrastructure Automation:
- Assist in configuring and scripting fully automated infrastructure provisioning, image builds, and instance deployment capabilities.
- Follow standard change control and configuration management practices to maintain system integrity.
- Operational Support:
- Participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation to support the platform and ensure continuous availability and performance.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- On-Premise client infrastructure support experience
- Strong motivation to automate repeatable processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for working across teams.
- Experience in DevOps practices, including infrastructure, scripting, and programming.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes.
