Overview
Looking for a senior technical project manager to join our team on a contract basis. You will be working daily with the primary software development lead, assisting them in the overall timeline and delivery of complex, multi-faceted software development projects, while also publicizing to leadership and technical teams the risks, timelines, and overall status of project execution. In this role, you will perform various coordinating tasks, like scheduling and risk identification / management, along with administrative duties, like maintaining project plans, while communicating changes and risks to leadership. To succeed in this role, you should have excellent time management and communication skills, as you'll collaborate with multiple internal teams inside and outside our department to schedule and communicate results on deadlines while avoiding potential schedule conflicts with other teams. Ultimately, the Project Manager's duties are to ensure that all projects are completed on time while documenting and addressing risks and challenges along the way. Candidates can further distinguish themselves by exhibiting a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate project management activities and information
- Identify project boundaries and set their timeframes for development, testing and delivery
- Liaise with external teams to identify and define requirements, scope, and objectives
- Compel schedule management
