Tech Valley Talent (TVT) has an opening for a Project Manager with Nuclear Energy experience.
DURATION: 2 years - starting in early June 2025
LOCATION: Remote; but should be close enough to attend stakeholder meetings in either Albany, NY or NYC
MUST work on our W2
The successful candidate will be an integral part of a significant undertaking, comprising development of multiple studies and conducting extensive stakeholder outreach.
Qualifications
• 4 years of work experience on nuclear energy (including duties that rely on nuclear technical expertise/ understanding), and a nuclear engineering degree or certification (e.g., Bachelor’s Degree in Nuclear Engineering; Reactor Operator license) or highly related engineering or science degree.
• Technical expertise/experience in nuclear technologies, preferably including advanced nuclear technologies.
• Strong project management experience including managing timelines, project plans, action lists, preparing internal briefings, managing consultants etc.
• Advanced written and oral communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Day to Day Tasks
• Provide project management for the advanced nuclear team including managing timelines, project plans, action lists, preparing internal briefings, managing consultants, etc.
• Take lead on and/or contribute to the Advanced Nuclear Master Plan studies.
• Engage with stakeholders and offer internal advice on nuclear technical aspects.
• Other duties that contribute to the key outcomes of the Office of the President and the Advanced Nuclear Plan initiative.
