Grand Central Epic Analyst
3 Month Contract (possibility of extension initially and over time become permanent)

The Grand Central Epic Analyst plays a crucial role in managing and supporting the analysis, design, implementation, operation, and optimization of the organization’s information technology systems. As a key member of the IT team, you will be responsible for configuring, deploying, and supporting Epic Grand Central modules to ensure seamless financial operations and enhance overall healthcare delivery.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Epic applications and your strong analytical skills to contribute to the improvement of patient care and financial efficiency. You will work closely with other IT professionals and healthcare staff to ensure the smooth functioning of financial systems within the Epic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure, implement, and support Epic Grand Central modules to meet the organization’s operational needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial operations within Epic.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
- Ensure successful deployment of Epic solutions while maintaining alignment with healthcare best practices.
- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Epic Grand Central modules, including updates, patches, and optimizations.
- Contribute to the training and education of staff on Epic systems, ensuring effective use and understanding of the software.
Licensure, Certification, or Registration Requirements for Hire:
- Must be certified in the relevant Epic module(s) as required by leadership.
- All certification exams must be passed within three (3) attempts, with successful completion of required Epic certifications within 60 days of final training.
- Maintain required Epic certifications for the role as stipulated by the organization.
Experience:
- Required: 3-6 years of related experience in Epic Grand Central Build.
- Preferred: Prior Epic experience in training, build, and/or support within the Epic electronic health record suite is preferred. Healthcare industry experience is also desirable.
Education/Training:
- Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Skills and Attributes:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Expertise in Epic Grand Central and related financial modules.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with stakeholders across the organization.
- Passion for improving healthcare technology systems and patient outcomes.
